Priscilla was determined to do whatever she could to find the right person to give the ornament to. She hoped she could get help from the news media in finding the relatives that mistakenly gave away the item to the thrift store, but she had already decided to find another way if this didn’t work. Talking to reporters, she said, “It’s beautiful. It must have a story. So that’s my goal: to find out where and who this belongs to.” Even though she had notified the police, she still didn’t feel as if she was closer to finding answers.
