Mikey Lythcott has made a lot of friends while traveling around the world. This 36-year-old globetrotter used to live in Lisbon, Portugal as an ex-pat but he uses social media to stay connected with his international buddies. Mikey would often post photos of marketplaces and exotic beaches to keep friends up to date with every new country that he ticks off his bucket list. However, during his trip to Bali, Indonesia, he posted something which had his friends really worried.

Plans Of Meeting Up
An avid world traveler, Mikey had visited 54 different countries. In February 2018, he went on a trip in Thailand and met Stacey Eno, an English teacher living in Gwangju, South Korea. The pair made plans to meet up again the following August, but this time in Bali, Indonesia. While it was an opportunity which came spontaneously and allowed him to tick off his 55th country, Mikey had no idea that he would be fighting to stay alive just hours after arriving in the Asian country.
