Trapped
As Paul contemplated the situation some more, another sound brought him out of his thoughts. What on earth was making that sound in the dark? It was a faint grumbling sound that could be heard from the bathroom. Siam was already here, so what else was inside the house aside from the two of them?!

Paul tried to regain his cool by telling himself that it was likely just a raccoon that slipped into this abandoned house. He even felt relieved by this thought since it would also explain why the cat was hiding in the bath. After gathering all of his courage, he opened the door to find out what it was.
