New Market
Davao is a farmer with a small plot of land near the village center. The population of the town is around 2,000 people, but it is slowly growing and modernizing. A market recently opened not far from Davao’s farmhouse. He was happy to see the new addition because it meant he’d only have to walk less than five minutes to get his groceries. But he had no idea what kind of impact the new shopping center would have on his life — and it wasn’t a good one.

Parking Issues
The new market lacked a dedicated parking area because it was located in the village center, which already had many other structures. As a result, customers parked on nearby streets and walked the rest of the way. But it was clear that this wasn’t going to be enough. The market was drawing a large crowd, and there was simply not enough street parking to accommodate everyone. Some of them decided to be inventive, despite the fact that they had no idea who would be affected.
