Karen Lehmann and Dennis Vinar are unexpected pair who were involved in a mystery that was decades old as well. Unlike Heidi and Ed’s story, Karen and Dennis’ was unfortunately a lot more difficult. Karen and Dennis first met back in 1958, when they were in high school. The two were very different but they still fell for each other – Karen was quiet and nerdy, while Dennis was their school’s football superstar. The pair seemed like they walked straight out of a movie.

In 1960, Karen and Dennis went to prom together and it was the start of their relationship. Dennis gathered enough courage to ask Karen to go to prom with him and she later recalled how the other girls in high school got jealous of her. Things quickly got serious between Karen and Dennis as they became absolutely inseparable. They hoped to be together for the rest of their lives and build a family and a home. Sadly, something happened which stood in their way for many decades.
