Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi – Maltipoo

Not an actual dog breed, a Maltipoo is a mix between a Maltese and a Poodle. Aside from its affectionate and fun-loving nature, it is also charming and active and can fit into any home – be it an apartment or a house. Maltipoos are also great for families with children or single elderly. In Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s household, there used to be a Maltipoo named Wolf, but the little one passed away in 2020. Wolf had brought the couple a lot of joy and even had an important part in their marriage ceremony back in 2008.

Elizabeth Taylor – Maltese

Like many people, Elizabeth Taylor was also a big dog fan and considered her pet Maltese her best buddies. Her favorite was her adorable pooch Sugar, who passed in 2005. Elizabeth had two other pets, Daisy and Delilah, who stayed with her until she passed away in 2011. It is no surprise that she loved the Maltese since the breed is known for being sprightly, vigorous, a great companion, and a therapy dog. Maltese dogs are excellent at dog sports, excelling in agility, rally, obedience, and tracking. The furry four-legged creatures also adjust well with different people, given their friendly nature.
