Reuniting With Old Friends
Because she grew up around here, she has an abundance of previous acquaintances. Rebecca went out of her way to contact several of her old friends. She joked with her friend and asked if he could introduce her to some local hot single dads. Her friend surprised her by saying, “Yes!” even though she was only joking. He then informed her of Steven’s existence. Rebecca looked him up on Facebook and looked at his pictures. Even though she must have felt hopeless throughout, she had a bright future ahead of her.

The truth was that all she wanted was to see old friends and meet new ones. It was time for her to reclaim some semblance of normalcy in her life. Despite this, when she caught a whiff of a budding romance, she had her own set of concerns. She had recently finalized her divorce from her husband, and it was difficult for her to trust anyone after what she had gone through. It was only natural for her to try to put herself out there, no matter how terrifying it was.
