A Worthwhile But Challenging Project

The home renovation project wasn’t going to be a walk in the park as it would take the Gaines 18 months to make their dream home a reality. Bear in mind that Joanna and Chip were working on their house while they were servicing some other renovations for their clients. However, the Gaines home was a project that is really worth it due to the property’s historic nature and the beautiful land where the farmhouse sat upon. Among the extremely interesting finds of a property this old was probably the abundance of paperwork Joanna had stumbled on inside the house which dated back to the year 1895, so it appears the Gaines didn’t just purchase a farmhouse and some land but also a rather fascinating story to tell.

Actually, only the master bedroom had an extension built to it. However, the couple still needed to add in the fixtures and fittings necessary to make the place suitable as a family home.
