Well…she had just won the lottery. The lottery! So, even though she was upset and hurt from the letter and from losing her husband, she was also happy that she won the lottery and now had loads of cash.

When they first met, Laura, Jack, and Dave were going to work. However, they first didn’t first have a good connection. Though they went to the library and worked together a lot, the two originally would never have physical contact until he was on his third date with her.
