A New Explanation
Keely tried to tell herself that if every doctor she saw thought that nothing was wrong with her, that this must really be the case. Sure enough, though, after she passed out at work for the fourth time, she said no more and finally got help! Now, the doctor said that her exhaustion was caused by her acne medication, but now she knew better than to simply accept this response. She needed something better than that.

It really felt to Keely as though her doctors just weren’t taking her seriously and were brushing off her symptoms like they were nothing. They kept trying to place the blame for everything on outside factors of things going on in her life, but finally, Keely stood up for herself and wouldn’t accept this as a response.
