Giving The Keys
Kim and her friend reached the parking lot just as the sun disappeared behind the trees. It was easy for them to identify which vehicle the keys belonged to as almost all of the cars were gone. The car was there, but the owner was not. Since the women didn’t want to be out in the cold while the sky grew darker, they decided to place the keys on the driver’s side on top of the car.

A week later, Kim and her friend discovered who the car’s owner was after it made the news. Someone had apparently gone missing at the park and though the car had been recovered by the authorities, what had happened to its owner was still a mystery. The women wished the person and those investigating the best, but soon the pair forgot about the mystery, that is until a month later. Dundas Peak came back into their lives.
