Recreating The Cousin’s Picture
The two women had agreed they would try recreating the photo which had inspired them to do the trip. The photo shows the friend’s cousin posing on the peak’s edge. It is different from the popular pose that we see of the model looking straight ahead since the picture was taken from the side and the angle showed the face of the friend’s cousin. The pair figured that if luck was on their side, they might find someone that would take a photo of them both.

Something Caught Her Eye
The women took turns taking and posing for a photo. Kim was the first to take the photo, so her friend headed up and sat on the rock like how her cousin had. While she was trying to find a position that was comfortable, she noticed that there was something glimmering below. She looked around and tried to find what had caught her eye. She discovered the thing was dangling on a branch, so she reached down and grabbed it.
