His neighbor confronted him, and said he would call the cops and told him to keep on the lookout because he would get a “pickaxe to the back.” No one there followed the law better than David, and he remained calm and told his neighbor that he had every right to place the barrels there, because it was his property, and the neighbors knew it. But the war wasn’t over yet.

The New Solution
Initially, the barrels succeeded and protected his property, but they would soon be destroyed by too many passing vehicles. So as predicted, after a year the barrels fell down and no longer worked as intended. He wanted to think of something new, but after understanding that the war wasn’t going to be so easy to win, he realized he had to step up his game, and so, one evening, he did something that would eventually give his neighbors a message.
