Smoochie’s owners were thrilled with all the puppies, but Smoochie wasn’t. After giving birth, they noticed that their dog was not being affectionate with her children. They first decided to not pay attention and thought that the situation would change eventually. However, a few days passed and her behavior towards her children remained the same: non-existent. She was still very young, however, so maybe it would be normal that the bond hand been formed yet.

Their only solution now was to just wait and hope that Smoochie would eventually show some type of love and affection towards her puppies. A few days went by but the owners were still being optimistic that Smoochie would overcome this obstacle. More time passed and her attitude remained the same, she was still not taking care of her children.
