Saffron was from Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, and worked as a retail assistant. She lived a very normal life, like most teenagers. In the months prior, Heffer was working hard to tone her body and even moved from a size ten to a size eight. She hadn’t gotten her period in a few months but to Heffer, this was not out of the ordinary. Saffron said she had no reason to suspect anything peculiar.

Being a teenager is a hard time for everyone. Especially in today’s society where everyone is so focused on body image, Saffron felt the pressure to improve her body and spend hours achieving a rock hard six-pack. She was confident in her body and that’s why this was such a drastic change for her. Most teenagers would not have handled this situation too well, so let’s see how Saffron did.
