RON HOWARD, 65 YEARS OLD

American actor and filmmaker, Ron Howard knew from a young age what career he wanted. By 1958, he made his first appearance in Hollywood. Fun fact: his real last name is actually “Beckenholdt”, but by 1948 he took the name “Howard” to be his stage name. In 1959, he had his first credited film role in The Journey. That same year, he made several appearances on various TV shows, such as The Twilight Zone and Dennis the Menace. In 1960, he was cast as Opie Taylor in The Andy Griffith Show, and the rest, as they say, is history.
