The lifestyle and salaries of NFL players can be irritating to those of us who don’t throw a ball for a living, but we have something to remind those envious individuals: football is a grueling and highly-debilitating sport, with most football players retiring at just 35 years old. In order to meet this retirement goal, many players like Rob Gronkowski work extremely hard to maintain their physiques and their extravagant lifestyles. Gronkowski’s mansion is in the Seaport District of Boston. The mansion stands as a modest 2,063 square feet, but it includes a private desk on the roof that’s equipped to host a variety of parties and also watch those incredible Massachusetts sunrises.

Kurt Warner – Scottsdale

Have you been wondering what the former quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, Kurt Warner, has been doing? Warner took up his retirement residence in a 11,000 square-foot home in Scottsdale, Arizona. As if a seven bedroom, ten bathroom home wasn’t luxurious enough, he also has a home entertainment room replete with a personal theater, a video game room, and a cabana. Even though we can’t speak to how his retirement’s been first-hand, we’re thinking that he’s had a very relaxing time since leaving the NFL after the 2009 season. He probably doesn’t even leave his home! We wouldn’t want to either.
