Filming movies and TV shows are ways that actors, actresses, and other people working in the industry bond and get to know each other. During the making of this film, Dane Cook really got to know his co-star, Kate Hudson. He knew her as a very energetic actress that simply loves playing around and having fun in the set. In an interview that happened in 2014, Cook shared his experience of kissing Kate Hudson and said that it was not great. First, he had a disclaimer that he had nothing against the actress. He even said the reason as to why he did not like their kissing scene in a funny and kidding way – before filming the kissing scene, Hudson ate a few onions which Cook could perfectly tell because he literally tasted it the whole time they were kissing.
