He had only been hiking for less than an hour at that time. Dermot was starting to feel the workout’s burn as he took in his surroundings. He knew while it wasn’t easy, that he had to do it. Fortunately, it was compensated for by the gorgeous views and fresh air. He shut his eyes and breathed deeply. He felt relaxed by the scent of oak trees and wild grass. Nonetheless, all of a sudden, his smile dropped from his face.

He Heard An Odd Sound
A strange sound caught his attention. It sounded like a voice, although a very faint one. Dermot looked around, uncertain where it came from. Instantly, he thought of the missing girl. When he remembered her, his blood ran cold. “Alice?! ” he screamed into space. He didn’t hear a response, though. The voice stopped suddenly for some reason. What exactly was going on here?!
