Mickey Mantle

The Commerce Comet or The Mick may be names you are more familiar with. Mickey Mantle played his entire 17-year career with the New York Yankees. Mantle holds the second-highest OPS+ in regards to center fielders. Mantle retired with the highest stolen base percentage in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1964. An astounding achievement for him was a plaque presented by Joe DiMaggio which was hung at Yankee stadium near the monuments of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

Isiah Thomas III

The Detroit Pistons were the home of Isiah Thomas for the duration of his NBA career. As a 12 time NBA All-Star and one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History it is only fitting he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Thomas was the 2nd overall pick in 1981 by the Pistons. Thomas led the “Bad Boys” to both the 1988-89 and 1989-90 NBA championship games.
