Rebecca didn’t stop looking for the bottles and cans once she found them. She made a point of inspecting the car’s trunk. There were more shocking things in there. Many letters were addressed to her. “He had been keeping random letters from collection agencies, bills, and birthday cards from me for YEARS,” she said, explaining how he got away with all of his secrets and lies for so long. She was completely unaware that they had received letters regarding bill payments and possible eviction. It was all a huge shock to her.

“Confused, hurt, and angry were my only emotions for the next few days,” she wrote in an attempt to explain how she felt during that incredible moment. We’re sure it’s not difficult to understand why this was almost too much for her. Due to her stress, she was unable to sleep or eat. She claimed she had been “running on fumes” for a few days as she tried to figure things out. Over the course of their marriage, it felt as if her husband had kept many secrets from her.
