LGBT Pride Month
A sitting President is supposed to officially recognize LGBT Pride Month. During the evenings in the month of June, the White House is lit up with rainbow lights to show support for the LGBT citizens of the United States. Donald Trump was one President who failed to recognize this month in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

A Sweet Christmas
Each year during Christmas, there is a white chocolate replica of the White House displayed in the State Dining Room. This tradition began in the 1960s and it is still going strong today. The masterpiece takes bakers up to 3 months to construct and has weighed up to 300 pounds!
