Meghan Markle might have been adored in high school, but it sounds like she was popular in college as well. Harvey Young was one of her professors back then. He shared with ABC what Meghan had been like in his class. He had nothing but good things to say about her. The professor even said that she is a great example of what one can achieve as long as you have the determination and work hard. “I taught her in a small, advanced undergraduate seminar,” he shared. “There were only eight students in the class. We sat in a circle. It was on contemporary black theater. She was one of those people that I would highlight for students. I would say. ‘This is a possibility. This is a path you can pursue if you work hard.’”

We are sure that Meghan Markle loved the company of her sorority sisters. There is no doubt that they also loved her! She was clearly a popular person on campus back then. It was also the time when she became a passionate activist. “In my memories of Meghan at Northwestern, she was very clear about the need to think about the experiences of people who are not only biracial but of people of color,” Harvey Young went on when ABC interviewed him. He shared, “She was mindful of the need for gender equality and the importance of championing for women’s rights.” We are so proud of her!
