She went to Northwestern University and took up a double major in international studies and theater. She was a part of Kappa Kappa Gamma’s sorority and appeared involved with other extracurricular activities such as the theater program. This makes a lot of sense since she made it big as an actress. In 2013, she shared this with Marie Claire: “I had always loved politics, so I ended up changing my major completely, and double-majoring in theater and international relations.” Wow!

Some of her friends talked to People and shared how much they enjoyed attending school with the actress. Meghan Markle received a prom queen nomination but did not win. It might not matter much now, but her former classmates think it will work as an asset as she entered the royal family. Why is that? “She was a role model and was inspiring,” one of her old friends revealed. They went on, “With her [work with] the UN and philanthropic interests, their goals and ideals are in alignment.”
