History Really Does Repeat Itself
Do you know how the current succession to the throne came to be? King George VI, his great-granddad, earned the throne after his brother abdicated. King Edward VIII stepped down to marry an American divorcee by the name of Wallis Simpson. The public did not approve of the couple and said that a divorced woman would not be a suitable queen consort. It is not likely that Meghan Markle would be a queen since Prince Harry is far down the succession line. There is still his father, his brother, nephews, and nieces. At any rate, it is interesting to hear that there is a historical precedent against her.

Sharing The News Of Their Engagement
The whole world found out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were engaged on November 27, 2017. Clarence House released a statement to acknowledge the engagement. It said, “His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty the Queen and other close members of his family.” Their royal wedding took place in the spring of 2018. Not long after the news came out, someone asked Prince Harry how he knew that Meghan Markle was “the one” for him. He said, “When did I know she was the one? The very first time we met.” How sweet is that!?
