While trying to lure it out, they did not stop reassuring the dog to keep it calm. The two rescuers used a sweet tone, some encouraging words, and praises. They were aware of how stray dogs are insecure and very delicate, and easily scared because of the trauma.

Since it was raining the day they found the German Shepherd mix, they decided to call the stray dog Rain. While they were coaxing and soothing her, she just kept her tail tucked between her legs, a clear indication of its anxiety and insecurity. At the very least, they were making significant progress.
