He’s Just A Kid
Bullying has spread all over the world and could be an epidemic that we must all cure. Without bullying, the world would be a better place. One of the most common reasons for bullying would be personal frustrations. This would not, however, be a valid reason for bullying someone. Actually, there would be no good reason to torment others. However, people tend to forget this fact and in any case bully others. But one father wouldn’t let his little kid continue. As he unzipped his coat, he flashed a smile.

He’s Just A Kid
He Was Bullied
Joey Mason was the boy who was being bullied. He liked to hang out in the park while he was playing with his ball. Joey was only one of many bullying victims at school, but he could at least find happiness in the park. It was about to change his day…

He Was Bullied
His Favorite Spot
It seemed like a group of teenagers appeared where he used to play. It was disappointing that most people did not know how to handle bullying, but something had to be done still. There is a lot to do.

His Favorite Spot
A Happy Day Turned Into Nightmare
The bullying started when Jason mason was in fourth grade. Because of this, he preferred the company of his dog and cat instead of playing outside. He lived in a residential community in Toronto, Canada. There was a refreshing park in his community where children could play outside freely. After school, he always visited the park to play with his ball. Then one day, things got a bit out of control

A Happy Day Turned Into Nightmare
The Boys
There was a time when he was at the park, after school, that his peaceful day turned out to be a nightmare. Why? Because the older boys planned to bully Joey. The park should be a safe space for children, especially Joey. But it caused him to be bullied in the same park.

Attraction
He Felt Uneasy And Alarmed
Each parent would only wish their children what was best for them. It would be natural for a mother or father to be concerned about the sadness and pain of their children. Joey’s father was the same as the other parents. He saw his son struggling every day and felt uncomfortable and alarmed.

He Felt Uneasy And Alarmed
Talking About It
He decided to investigate what caused his son to feel. He tried to talk to his child but refused to talk about the matter. Joey shut himself away from his parents, his mood worsened, but he would not come out when he spoke of it.

Talking About It
Emotionally Despair
Joey Mason’s dad took up the changes his son had to go through on changing schools. He knew the moment he was transferred, his happy baby boy has turned into an emotional wreck. He could not help but wonder what he had caused him so that he was able to help.

Emotionally Despair
Something’s Not Right
Whenever his son came home from school, Joey’s father saw his son coming back crying. It was an indication that something was wrong. However, he had insufficient proof that his son was being bullied. He chose to get to the bottom of the problem. Enough was enough! Enough was enough!

Something’s Not Right

He couldn’t believe it happened once he discovered it all. He didn’t care if the solution was sneaky or sleazy. He knew he had to do something for his son and it was necessary to take action.

What Was The Cause Of Bullying?
The father of Joey Mason thought through it all and spent a lot of time planning. Soon, he realized his son might have been bullied or even one of his teachers by others, such as his classmates. Your family life was all right so he was sure that the problem wasn’t with the family.

What Was The Cause Of Bullying?
Following Him
It was sad that Joey’s time to play outside would turn around and even become a child’s nightmare. This was due to bullies. Joey played with his ball already and teenagers came and approached him. They didn’t know that someone was watching them all closely.

His World Turned Upside Down
It was saddening that Joey’s time to play outdoors would turn upside down and might even become a nightmare for the child. This was because of the bullies. Joey was already busy playing with his ball and some teenagers came by and approached him. They were unaware that there was someone who was watching all of them closely.

He’s The Target
Regardless of the reason, there was a group of young people who decided to target Joey Mason in the spring. This had been going on for weeks, and it seemed that this group of teens would be there to bully him for all the times and places before and after school.

He’s The Target
Strong & Brave
Luckily, Joey was a strong and courageous child. He decided to ignore their call. The fact that he could do this reflects his strength. The group did not leave him alone, however, and even increased their bullying game.

Joey Was In Trouble
Joey Mason was an innocent boy and didn’t want to disturb others. This could be one of the reasons why this group decided to target the boy. Other people who were at the park thought that Jason knew these bullies on a personal level, so they don’t intervene.

Joey Was In Trouble
Someone’s Watching
Joey was scared to defend himself at school. The other students who knew the bullying were too scared to step up while the teachers didn’t know it already happened. Most teachers believe these were just children acting like children and probably just fooling. They were wrong…

Someone’s Watching
An Onlooker
He was already bullied at school, but even now this group of terrible young people in the park hurled him into the corner. Fortunately, somebody else in the park watched the entire scene. The person would hopefully help Joey out of this mess.

An Onlooker
It Escalated Quickly
The teenage group had fun when they stole Joey’s ball and had no plans to give it back. But things could escalate quickly if no one intervenes. Unfortunately, however, things only seemed normal for outsiders because the children only seemed to look like they were playing.

It Escalated Quickly
With Intent
On the outside, these teenagers seemed friendly, however, on the inside, they were like wolves in a ship’s clothing. They had other intentions, intentions that were to be noticed before now. What happened next is simply unfair to any child.

With Intent
It’s Not Getting Any Good
Someone in the group teased, “Hey, kid, you got a nice ball. Can I see it? Can I see it?” And the teenager already kicked the ball away from him before Joey could answer in any way. Joey was trying to protest and shouted, “This is mine!”

It’s Not Getting Any Good
They Continued On
But the teenager went on bullying and answered, “Come on, just give it to me, man. It is only a ball.” Since everything happened, the group of children did not know they were being watched.

They Continued On
It’s Time To Step Up
The man looked closely at the interaction between Jason and the other teenagers. He was hidden from their eyes, and as the teasing of the teenager grew he turned his attention to the four boys. The older teenager threw the ball away from Joey.

It’s Time To Step Up
The Man Gets Involved
The man finally decided that it was time to step up. The naughty young people didn’t know that it was Joey’s dad. At the right time, he finally was in the right place and was ready to step in.

The Man Gets Involved
A Man Approached The Boys
The father of Joey asked the group of young people in a scolding tone, “Gentlemen, what do you think you are doing?” Joey tried to get the ball back as the group turned speechless because they didn’t know how to answer. A few seconds later, however, they got audacious and tried to fleece the dad.

A Man Approached The Boys
“Just Playing Ball, Sir”
The teens acted innocently and answered, “Just ball playing, sir.” They hoped that the person approaching them would just leave them. However, the man didn’t buy what they said. What the man said next was also precisely the words that we would want to hear when we put in the same shoes as Joey.

“Just Playing Ball, Sir”
Interrogation
The man started to ask the teenagers “Why are you picking on a little kid?” The group of teens stayed silent, so he continued, “Don’t you think your parents would love this? You guys getting arrested for picking on a little kid?” One of the teenagers finally whispered, “No.” The man continued his questioning.

Interrogation
It Did Not End Here
The man asked in an angry voice, “Why didn’t you guys stop him? Would you like to be part of that?” He’s been mad but he’s also glad to help his son get out of the circumstance. He faced Joey and checked whether he was okay or not.

Payback
He gave him the ball back as well. Then he went to a group of young people and told them to find another area and leave the child alone. Finally, somebody stuck up for Joey. However, the story doesn’t end here.

Give Them What They Deserve
Just a few days after the incident, Joey ‘s father began to go to school with his son. The duo had a plan together. They decided to walk through the area where Joey was waiting for the bullies. He was ready to give them what they deserved and to make sure they would never be bullied again.

Give Them What They Deserve
As Expected
The first part of their plan is to let Joey move forward while his father was waiting. And the group of bullies was waiting for Joey near the usual street corner, as they expected. When Joey passed by, they recognized the kid immediately and began to call him. This time, however, Joey ‘s father was prepared. He walked to them, shouting, “Hey!” To attract their attention. When he opened his coat, he grinned.

Frighten The Bullies
The teens were astonished to see the white uniform under his coat. They scrambled once they saw the white uniform. Joey ‘s dad yelled, “I was thinking so!” The adolescents ran away. As he grinned, he tightened the black belt to his tail. He was satisfied with the results. He recently found his old Judo uniform and decided to wear it under his coat to make the bullies afraid.

It should never be justified to bully. It would always be wrong, and nobody should be harassed. It should never be experienced by anyone. No one should impact other people negatively and go so far as to make others miserable.

Bullying Is Not Right
Awareness And Response To Bullying
These examples showed us that bullying is always wrong. One way to make the perpetrators realize their mistake is to ask them what they feel and do if they are bullied. This could be a step closer to our objective of eradicating bullying in modern society.

Awareness And Response To Bullying
Increased In Cyber Bullying
Social media have helped us to get closer and connect faster, but also greatly facilitated online bullying. Many students experienced bullying in real life as well as online. Most of them even thought of themselves as harmful to bullying.

Be Kind To Others, Save A Life
We could save somebody by being kind to others and not blinding our eyes when we noticed someone being bullied. And please take the golden rule into account: don’t do to others what other people don’t want to do to you. This rule could also be used for bullying.
