We’re sure as their family is so large, that it always seems like it’s someone’s birthday in their home. Still, these design gurus make an extra effort to make each of their children’s birthdays extra special and listen to their every request. In this case, Joanna put together a low-key balloon affair for her oldest son Duke’s big day. She shared this snap the night before the celebrations as “All he requested was balloons and mama’s cinnamon rolls… someone’s got a birthday tomorrow!!” Still, we’re sure birthdays are always a colorful celebration in their house.

DIY Divas
It seems like Joanna and Chip’s grand master plan to inspire their kids with DIY creativity is working. In this super cute shot, their adorable daughters have turned into DIY divas and are clearly following in their mom’s footsteps, by putting on a mini craft queens show for all their animals pals to witness. They have also transformed the room into an adorable playroom. Joanna captioned this shot, “The girls have been taking sewing lessons for a year now and for the last few weeks they have been talking about a surprise they are making. They finally finished this week and I just love this quilt and so do their ‘students’ they are reading to!”
