As you can imagine by now, family is everything to the Gaines, so it was crucial when they designed their dream farmhouse, that they have enough space for the whole gang to enjoy together. They also make the best use of the space to encourage their kids to get creative and perfect their design and craft skills. In this super cute shot, you can see Joanna doing her best to inspire her kids to follow in her footsteps and spend their time coloring. The room also looks super-homely and warm, with special touches, like the chalk board with an inspiring quote, wooden features, chairs with numbers and family photos. Again, the kitchen has been designed with their signature black, white and wooden design scheme, which fits perfectly with the theme of the house.

Nooks And Crannies
Joanna and Chip really have thought of everything for their dream house. They have even made sure there’s enough cozy nooks for both their children and themselves to lounge around in. These cozy nooks have been organized with cushions and blankets, and are perfect for some quiet time. Here you can see one of the boys looking snug as a rug, curling up with a good book and a blanket. In fact, Joanna has often shared photos of her kids reading books, which is so refreshing when most children would be playing on iPads and computers. In each of her intimate snaps, everyone looks really comfy and happy, and we’re sure Chip and Joanna thought about this when they designed their family’s home.
