A Traditional Farm
As we stated previously, a massive draw for Joanna and Chip was the land that the farmhouse was located in – 40 acres of beautiful and lush farmland of trees, shrubs, and plants. Making the most out of it was part of the couple’s plan, so they converted the garden into an actual farm, complete with a silo and chicken coop. The way they have preserved the farm feature of this land definitely has a traditional appeal, most likely because they also decided to keep that classic appeal and to share the land with various animals. Just because Joanna and Chip renovated the farmhouse doesn’t mean they didn’t want to keep the farm aspect of the farmland.

The Perfect Spot For Gardening
Another great feature which occupies their massive piece of land is a greenhouse that is located right outside the home. Since despite the land making for a wonderful farm, one would like to grow some things during the colder time of the year regardless. This greenhouse is just perfect for an enclosed garden like this, beautifully designed and has the familiar palette of white. The spot is perfect for carrying on with the gardening all year around and a great area for teaching about the finer details of botany to the kids.
