This didn’t come from anywhere but because researchers have discovered how incredible avocado really is for us. This food is so creamy and delicious that it can bring a smile to anyone’s face. It is an excellent addition to any dish your serving and it has nutrients that will actually enhance your moods like serotonin and potassium. They will make you feel and look good so next time you’re thinking about what you want to eat then make sure to incorporate avocado in your meal plan. Avocado Smoothie

If you need a fresh pick me up in the morning or after-workout snack, this recipe is the one for you. It is nothing like guacamole and is almost like a sorbet! It has the perfect amount of healthy fats and will give you the boost of energy that you need. You can even add some chocolate to make it a delicious treat after dinner.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cubed frozen pineapple
  • 2 cups packed fresh spinach (or 1½ cup chopped frozen spinach)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¾ cup light coconut milk (canned or from a carton)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice, plus ½ teaspoon zest
  • 2 scoops Aloha Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup, or sweetener of your choice
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 8 ice cubes
  • a sprinkle of chia seeds, optional, for garnish

The combination of avocado and banana create a thick and creamy texture that is dairy-free and delicious.
