Ingredients
1/3 cup of old fashioned oats
1/2 cup of milk (any depending on your preference)
1/4 cup of blueberries
1 tsp vanilla essence
Cinnamon to taste
1/2 banana
1/2 tablespoon of almond butter
Method
Mash your banana in a bowl and then add the other ingredients mixing thoroughly. For a finer and fluffier consistency blend your oats in a blender this will turn them into a powder and substitute as a flour consistency. You can blend a whole bunch of oats and keep the flour for when needed and even use it in additional recipes that contain flour. Whether it be butter, olive oil or coconut oil grease your pan accordingly. Once the pan is heated using a tablespoon dollop your mixture on to the pan. Cook once solidified and flip each pancake as needed. Once ready you can drizzle with syrup, honey, ice-cream or any additional fruits you wish to add to your pancakes. Even a source of protein if wanted. A great addition is a little bit of yogurt and honey just to add a little more flavor and goodness on the odd occasion. These pancakes are suitable for children too and are a great way to get them eating healthy. The recipe makes roughly 3 larger pancakes or 6 mini ones.
