If you were a celebrity, would you opt into car insurance? After all, when bringing in millions, if not tens of millions of dollars a year, would you spend it on insurance, or just go and buy a new car if something happens to your old one? While records of who has car insurance and the kind of insurance they have is not open for public record, chances are that despite bringing in the big bucks, most of them still have insurance. So, this is a hypothetical list of celebrities who, if they did own car insurance, probably are paying too much for it (and might actually be paying more for their insurance than what you earn annually).

Kim Kardashian

Kim is into all of the latest trends and needs to look good all the time (regardless of whether you agree with her idea of “looking good”). Beyond this though, she owns a large number of exotic vehicles, including a Ferrari and Bentley. Once her “reality” show is off the air, her only source left of income is going to revolve around the occasional modeling gig or paid appearance she might book. Of course, as long as she is with Kanye West, she probably won’t have much of a problem paying her premium. Chances are, she has also never looked at a car insurance online quote either. But that is just speculation.

Jay Leno

This guy might be the king of car owners. He has overall hundred vehicles, many of which are classics, in his name. Can you imagine the auto insurance he would pay on a couple hundred classic cars, many of which only have a handful of remaining models in existence? Chances are, he would be paying a couple million dollars (if not more) on car insurance. It would prove rather interesting just to know what an online auto insurance quote might run him.

Jerry Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld is another guy who falls under the list of owning a large number of cars. He has always been a Porsche fan, despite driving a Saab in his famous television show. While most of the cars on his new online show Comedians in Cars Drinking Coffee are not actually owned by him, the number of Porsches he does own probably increases his insurance car price just a bit. Of course, he probably brings in more money in a week form Seinfeld reruns than most bring in over the course of a year, so he shouldn’t have much of a problem affording his auto insurance.

Justin Beiber

Now, Justin Beiber is on this list for a completely different reason. No, he does not have the number of cars the previous two individuals have. Instead, he is more on this list for bad behavior than anything else. First, he is an international driver, so this is going to increase is car insurance. Second, he is under the age of 25, so his car insurance is going to be higher due to this as well. Third, he has an extensive police record already, and with many of these involving alcohol, he probably is not going to land any low cost car insurance quotes any time soon. Add all of this up and add in the fact that he drives extremely expensive vehicles, chances are any sort of car insurance quote is going to be out of this world. However, at the rate he is bringing in the police reports and increasing the size of his criminal record, it might not be allowed to drive in the country for too much longer.

Paris Hilton

Paris is kind of in the same boat as Kim Kardashian. Now, she does work more and has a steady modeling career, so she shouldn’t have a problem affording it, not to mention the amount of money her family is worth. However, she is not going to land an cheap auto insurance any time soon. She drives a custom Bentley GT Continental with a Barbie pink paint job. With all the customization on the vehicle, auto insurance quotes are not going to be kind to her.

David Beckham

David drives a custom Rolls-Royce Phantom. Combine the fact that this is both an import and it runs for over $400,000, he is going to have an out of this world car insurance payment every month. Of course, he brings in a nice paycheck from his professional soccer career, not to mention he models as well, so paying for the insurance should be a piece of cake.

Nicholas Cage

Have you ever noticed that Nicholas Cage appears in all of the worst big budget Hollywood movies? There is probably a reason for this, as he does need to pay for the insurance on his $670,000 Ferrari. So, the next time you see him appear in a terrible looking movie, just understand that he probably recently saw his quote auto insurance statement and realized he needed to pay his premium.

Jay-Z

Jay-Z has some money. There is no denying that. Of course, he needs every penny of it to pay the car insurance on his $8 million Maybach Exelero. This is also the model of vehicle he destroyed in the music video “Lost One.” Chances are, you are not going to see too many music videos cost more than $8 to make, and that is just the price of the vehicle. Either way, the amount of insurance you are going to be required to put down for this thing is out of this world, so you can bet he is not going to have the cheapest car insurance around or ever come close to car cheapest insurance at all.
